As we kick off 2026, I’m filled with excitement, drive, and genuine optimism for what’s ahead. Looking back on 2025 — a year full of challenges, learnings, and growth — I feel proud of how far we’ve come. We navigated supplier hurdles, production scaling, lab testing ups and downs, and so much more. Each step has shaped LAO JIANG into what it is today — a brand built on passion, persistence, and the belief that great flavour connects people.
Now, with those lessons under our belt, it’s time to focus on what truly matters: sharing our story, growing our community, and inviting more people to experience the LAO JIANG difference. Our crispy chilli oil — made with fresh Aussie-grown chillies and our signature hero ingredient, dried shrimp — brings a depth of flavour that transforms any meal into something unforgettable.
This year, my goal is simple: get out there, connect with people, and add a little spice to everyday life. Whether it’s at farmers’ markets, local cafes, or grocery shelves, I’m excited to bring LAO JIANG to more tables and kitchens. I’ll also be building up our social media presence and launching a new content series — everyday recipes for the time-poor and hungry — showing just how easy (and tasty) it can be to cook with LAO JIANG.
There’s a long list of things I want to create and explore, but the key is to stay grounded, focus on the basics, and keep moving forward one step at a time. So, here’s to a year of growth, flavour, and connection.
